A Boutique Bush Lodge in the City

Pilansberg National Park

This is the fourth largest game reserve in South Africa and home to the Big Five. So if you only have a day to spare, then this is the ideal way to make sure that you don’t go home without a real ‘safari’ experience!

RhinoThe park is just over two hours’ drive from Aloe Lane Guest Lodge, meaning that we can easily get there and back in a day, with plenty of time for a nice long game drive, as well as a delicious bush lunch. Game drives take place in a closed, air-conditioned vehicle with a high viewing point – to make sure that you don’t miss a thing.

Your day tour includes:

  • Pick-up and drop-off transfer service from Aloe Lane Guest Lodge
  • Registered Field Guide
  • Conservation and park entrance fees
  • Refreshments and lunch
  • A six hour game drive in a closed air-conditioned vehicle with a high view point
  • Exclusive game viewing and unlimited time at game viewing sights

Pilansberg 3The Day Safari is structured to allow you as much time as possible exploring the park, looking for mammals, and taking those magical photographs. The 55,000 hectares of Pilansberg  National Park is home to some 12,000 mammals, and it is now one of the privileged game reserves that provide the Big Five Experience – leopard, lion, elephant, rhino and buffalo – plus plenty of giraffe, zebra, impala and the like! The seven different habitats within the park also attract and cultivate prolific bird life – over 350 species in fact.
